I had the opportunity to have some time stamping with friends, here are a couple of cards I made recently.

This one is a new technique for me. It is called 3D Stamping. I found the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers website.

I have used Upsy Daisy stamp set, Whisper Whiter Craft Ink, Cajun Craze Dye Ink, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Neutrals Ivory, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise,  Peach Parfait Card, Top Note Die & Big Shot, finished off with Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

I wanted to try something new with the Top Note Die, this is what I came up with.

It uses the owl from Fox and Friends stamp set, Cajun Craze ink, Whisper White, Pacific Point Marina Mist Cards, top Note Die & Big Shot.

The Marina Mist Top Note is mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I have also challenged myself to use colours I don’t normally use.

Creative Elements Stamp Set, Whisper white, More Mustard, Island Indigo Card, Dazzling Diamonds Neutrals Designer Buttons & Marina Mist Grosgrain Ribbon.

Another different colour combination.

Creative Elements stamp set, Medallion Stamp set, Cajun Craze Ink,  Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze, More Mustard Card, Small self adhesive Rhinestones.

Recently, I made some backgrounds with my 6 yr old son, a good friend & her 8yr old Granddaughter.

I called it “messy play.” We did the  Shaving Cream Technique. We each choose 1 colour & did 2 sheets of each colour.

The new Idea Book & Catalogue has been live for almost 1 month, I have had a chance to play with some of the great products.

This is the Dinoroar! stamp set. It is a set of 7 stamps. I used Top Note Die in Daffodil Delight & Island Indigo on white card. I stamped images in Early Espresso & coloured Dinos with Stampin’ Pastels.

I really enjoyed going to Convention this year in Melbourne, but I’m glad it is over, now I can make more cards.

I have done a few cards recently, but not all of them are Stampin’ Up! ones & I have forgotten to scan/photograph them.

This card was inspired by one of the presenters on stage. She had some designer series paper, & made it a softer colour by using the sanding block. The stamp sets I used were Inspired By Nature, All a Flutter.

This one is done with the negative of the Top Note Die ( the frame that is left once you have taken the top note out). I sponged with Bashful Blue, Stamped Inspired by Nature in Garden Green, and used Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die, added a little Dazzling Diamond to the large butterfly. I think I used Soft Suede and More Mustard cardstock, I didn’t write it down.

I wanted to use some of my newer stamps, This one uses Strength & Hope, and Music Notes Stampin’ Around wheel. I didn’t write down the colours for this one either, but it was used for a workshop, and all the ladies enjoyed making this card with their own little twist in the design.
